Privacy policy
Clear information about your VPN connection, operational records and optional error reports.
Last updated: 7 November 2026
This policy explains how imgele, publisher of MIKTAL VPN, handles information through the Android app, its connection service and imgele.xyz. Our contact address is info@imgele.xyz. The mailbox is being set up; see Support for current availability.
1. What the VPN does
MIKTAL VPN uses Android's VPN service to route traffic from all apps, or apps you select, to your chosen VPN endpoint over an encrypted connection. The selected provider handles that traffic to provide internet access. A VPN does not make you unidentifiable and cannot secure content after it leaves the VPN endpoint unless the destination uses its own protection, such as HTTPS.
2. Information and purposes
| Information | Why and where it is used |
|---|---|
| Random installation identifier and authentication token | The service recognizes an installation, authorizes connections and prevents abuse. The private token is stored on the device; the server stores its hash. No email/password account is required. |
| Server selection, session identifiers, connection timestamps and byte counts | The control service operates connections, applies allowances and manages server availability. These records are associated with the installation identifier. |
| Network IP address | Our infrastructure and the chosen VPN provider necessarily receive the address used to connect. We do not use it for advertising profiles. This website disables ordinary request access logs; infrastructure/security errors can still contain connection information. |
| Installed launcher-app names and package names | Read and kept on the device to show the app-routing list. The list is not sent to the control service or included in error reports. |
| Optional technical error reports | After your opt-in and a current server permission, reports can contain error/event codes, app and Android versions, device model, network category, app stack-frame references, server ID and timestamps. They help diagnose failures. |
| Information you choose to send to support | Your contact address, installation ID and issue details are used to respond to your request. Do not send passwords, private VPN links or sensitive browsing information. |
The app has no advertising SDKs. It does not collect browsing history, page contents or browsing URLs. Technical uploads omit raw exception messages, passwords and private configuration links.
3. Consent and controls
The app presents a separate VPN/data notice before service enrollment. You can decline. Android also asks you to approve the VPN connection. Error-report uploads default off; enable or disable them in Settings. Even with your opt-in, sending reports also requires a fresh permission from our control service. You can disconnect the VPN at any time and choose which apps use it.
4. Providers and sharing
Our infrastructure providers, including Akamai/Linode for the control service, process information needed to host the service. Your selected VPN provider processes routed traffic and connection information. Some locations may use independently operated providers; their infrastructure, allowances and expiry are controlled by them. No personal data is sold for advertising. Information may also be disclosed when required to comply with applicable law or protect the service against abuse.
5. Retention and deletion
- The private on-device error queue holds at most 16 structured reports for up to 24 hours.
- Uploaded technical error reports are retained for up to seven days, subject to an additional total-record cap. Older reports are removed during service activity.
- Installation, connection and allowance records currently have no automatic age-based expiry. They remain until deletion is requested and processed by the operator.
- App preferences and locally stored data are removed when you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. This does not automatically erase existing server records.
- Support correspondence is kept for handling and following up your request until you ask for its deletion or it is no longer needed. Restricted deployment backups may retain an earlier state until the operator retires or sanitizes them; deletion must also be carried forward if a backup is restored.
Our data-deletion page explains how to identify an installation and request deletion. The app does not offer a user-facing account-registration feature. A third-party provider may hold its own records; we can only delete data under our control.
6. Security and international processing
VPN and control-API traffic is encrypted in transit to the relevant endpoint. Private app preferences and local reports are excluded from Android backup/transfer. Administrative access is authenticated. The current control service and VPN providers can process data outside your country. No system can promise absolute security.
7. This website
The public site has no analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies. Support/deletion draft forms run in your browser; preparing a draft does not send it to us. The CC management area is separate and authenticated; its access token is held in page memory rather than persistent browser storage.
8. Children and updates
MIKTAL VPN is a general-use connectivity service and is not designed specifically for children. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact support when the mailbox is active. We will update this page when our practices change and update the date above. Material collection changes requiring consent will be presented in the app.
